desicration of a JDM clock
not sure if i should show this off or not.
some of you purest may not like it
i had to figure out somewhere to mount my wideband display and this was the best solution i could come up with. i really wanted to put it in the rear view mirror but that would require a lot of wire and risk signal loss to boot.
granted, i didn't enjoy cutting a hole in the back of $65 jdm clock!
i made a mounting plate that goes into the same location as the electronics for the clock. i put the display in that. then made a small hole in the back of the clock to run the wires.
the cool deal is the electronics in the clock pop right out/back in if i ever need to return it to stock. the only evidence i was there will be a hold cut in the back to feed the gauge wiring in.
no pics of the assembly, just the final product.
