Default VAFC2 AND CHIPPED P28 HELP

hey...I'm running a chipped P28 and i have the VAFC2 i just wanted to install it for a little better "on the fly" tuning curve....but would this just make my chipped ECU pointless?? i mean would it override my program on my chip?! I was also going to use it as a volt meter and diagnostic meter so yeah....any help would b appreciated!! thanks!!
I'm a noob with Tuning Electronics so keep your negative comments to yourself!

which engine? a Z6?

Literally speaking, a properly tuned P28 will run circles around any VAFC.

a crap ebay chip with a VAFC behind it is not the worst thing you could do, but it far from good.

none of these comments are meant negatively, simply meant constructively.
A VAFC fools the ECU into thinking that certain sensors are in different locations to change fueling. The problem, this also changes the ignition setting. Which can cause EGTs to rise quickly, which melts parts just as fast.

changing the VTEC point when ever you want can be dangerous if the maps are not tuned well.
