Which intake system will be the best buy for power??? (serious question)
I was looking into getting a Password:JDM carbon fiber powerchamber intake but i was told that it wasn't worth the money for the amount of gains it gives (more for a bling factor).. I was told that an AEM cold air system or a Fujita will give more power than the "knock off" password:jdm one..
What do you guys suggest i should get? (budget is $300)
PS. my enigne is a b16a with headers, exhaust and an OBD1 conversion (don't think it really matters)
thanks!

i havent heard good things about the PasswordJDM whale ***** intake. like you said, its more for show, but i do love the sound it makes (yea yea
). Just get any kind of intake, cold air is best of course in terms of making power, but you have to consider hydrolock. but whatever intake you get, slap on a velocity stack. those are pretty much guaranteed to make power. Blox makes one, and if you buy from a vendor on this site, they'll give you a good deal.
oh yea, i think spending more than $150 on an intake is ridiclous.

Get a generic 3'' intake arm, brand does not matter. You can get the blox velocity stack and filter as a combo.
Then again, you would have known that had you SEARCHED.

yes, what he said.
i got my short ram off of ebay. it was a generic intake but only cost me $30 shipped. the blox velocity stack and filter (which i have also) cost about $50 fromt he vendors on H-T, which is a lot cheaper than purchasing it elsewhere.
heres a pic of the velocity stack/filter:
