oakland?..
oakland?..
a final closing from my cousin. please keep an eye out for the stern's. we all know they are not a common rim, and that could be the key to finding out who stole the car.

When we got there...well...it was heart breaking. My car was stripped of everything...and I mean everything. From the typical parts, all the way down to the horns. The engine bay was completely bare. The only thing left worth selling were the jdm sedan mirrors with switch and relay. (They did leave my baseball equipment and workout clothes though.) One thing I thought was odd was that they replaced my front fenders with a set of their own(black also)....a set that had the clear coat coming off on one fender, and the other that had a dent. This makes me believe that maybe the thief is a DA owner, or at least one of the tieives is.
A little history about my car. My parents bought this car in November of 1989. In 1998, this car was passed down to me by my parents. From then I started to modify things here and there, suspension first, then came the one pieces....so on and so forth with the typical. In 2002 I changed the engine and converted from auto to manual transmission. In 2005 I added type r bolt ons....intake manifold, tb, ctr intake cam. Later that year a new tranny went in, rebuilt with Quaife atb/lsd. In 2006 I converted over to obd1. The last mod I did was installed kport coilovers, a set of 15' stern s07s, wrapped in 205/50 azenis, and jdm itr recaros in black. My main focus for this car was a daily driver that can also be a weekend warrior, a blast to drive on and off the track. It pretty much was that. I drove this more then my other car because this car felt right. It was complete. I could drive it as hard as I wanted to with no problems/no worries.
My car only saw one track day/road race at Infineon. It was awesome because I was lucky to get in for free (sponsored by Opak)! My car did well that day, passing up various cars (stock WRXs even!), and only got passed by an evo and a couple of corvettes. I just wished I attended more track days with this car. Road race+vtec =
My car was stolen on 05/15/08, and found a day and a half later, stripped.
I am seriously going to miss this car. This car had alot of sentimental value to me....original owner, the sweat/time/ideas I put into her, and the fun from driving her. I really was planning to keep her forever.
I just want to thank G2ic and the members that have been around for years for the comments, help, and resources that I have fed on throughout these years. I practically did all my research on this site when I had ideas for my car.
To the thieves that stole her...[freak] You. Really...[freak] YOU. I really hope you guys burn in hell for all the **** you've done. It's people like you that [freak] up this hobby for everyone. The worst of karma to you bitches....10x fold.</TD></TR></TABLE>
