***FS: (NY) 97 GSR w/ 108k, koni/gc, near stock, clean title, no rust!***
Well, I've got the itch for a boxer, and that means the GSR has to go.

1997 Acura Integra GSR, 108,xxx miles, clean title.
Glenville, New York 12302
Engine:
AEM SRI
Suspension:
Koni sport (yellow) dampers (less than 7k mi)
Ground Control coilovers (stock integra spring rates, less than 7k mi)
Skunk2 billet RLCAs w/ poly bushings (less than 7k mi)
Wheels/tires:
enkei 16x7 (model name?)
kumho ecsta stp 205/45/16 (fronts 75-ish %, rears are 10-ish %)
rays lugs (black, one is stripped)
Exterior:
front licence plate holes shaved
front/rear emblems removed
spoiler removed
rear wiper removed (replaced with rubber plug from firewall)
Here's a brief history of the car. I'm the third owner; I purchased it from a 20-something year-old guy at 97k, who got it from the dealership at about 70k after the original owner traded it in. It has seen very few winter miles, and asside from some inevitable light rust on the exhaust, etc. is 100% rust-free. To the best of my knowledge, it has never been involved in any major accidents, and had all original body panels and no signs of bodywork when I got it. It now has a different OEM front bumper, hood, and fender thanks to an Avalanche backing into me in a parking lot (nothing major, just gouged the bumper and bent the hood/fender beyond repair). These parts were professionally painted and match perfectly. The timing belt, accessory belts, water pump, and related seals and gaskets were just replaced at 105,670 mi. I've personally changed the oil every 3k with castrol gtx. This car is 100% mechanically sound.
The paint on this car is in great shape, although there are some dings and scratches here and there. One front fender has a golf ball sized dent from where some *** opened his door into it. It's also staring to peel it one short section on the very bottom part of the front bumper. I'll post close up pictures of these flaws. The interior is in excellent shape, save for a few stains in the carpet (mostly high up in the driver's foot well). I don't have floor mats for the car. Other than that, its minty fresh, no odors, rips, or heavy wear.
I probably don't need to tell you that koni/gc is one of the best suspension set-ups around. I love the way this car feels, even as low as it is. It's firm, not bouncy, and an absolute blast to drive. There is practically zero body roll! The rear sway bar is mounted to the subframe, but I don't have it connected to the LCAs right now. All you would need to do to hook it up is find some bolts that fit. The car has also been properly aligned at this ride height; it's set at zero degrees toe all around. These tires are not camber worn at all, they have worn even and properly so far.
Let's review:
The Good:
- clean, rust free, near stock GSR in New York ... not exactly east to find
- New timing belt/water pump/accessory belts/related seals and gaskets 3k mi ago
- 30+ mpg if you can keep your foot out of it (you know that sounds tastey right now)
- fresh koni/ground control with alignment
- you can fit more than you'd think in this thing with the seats folded down!
The Bad:
- no radio (I have the plug for pioneer head units, that saves you $20 if you put in a pioneer)
- holes in the hatch from spoiler/emblems (plastic plugs in the spoiler holes)
- stock midpipe is welded to the cat (it broke and I didn't want to pay $160 for a new stock midpipe)
- paint is peeling off valve cover
- windsheild molding is starting to come up in one spot
- rear tires will need to be replaced soon
The car is not inspected currently ... all it will need to pass is new rear tires, but I'm going to leave that up to the buyer to take care of.
I've tried to be as honest and descriptive as possible. I know what it's like to drive 100 miles plus for something completeley different than what you expected. I'm also willing to deliver this car pretty far as long as you pay for my gas there and transportation back.
If you want any specific pictures, just post up a request in this thread. Chances are I'll take them and have them up the same day, or the next depending on what time it is. I'll be adding some more in the next few days as well.
I'm currently looking for offers over 5k
