tokico illumina question

tokico illumina question
well i just put some tokico illuminas on my ej8. i bought them before i bought lowering springs. and today i just bought some H&R sports. i called up the shop that installed the struts to see how much they would put the springs on for me, but he said that the illuminas would get [freak]ed up when they put the springs on. whats going on??
