Default Is this front frame bend or not? I can't tell...

I'm thinking of buying this civic EG and I got this picture from the owner.

I know the front was hit in the core support area and I don't mind that, but do you guys think the frame on driver side is bend on the front?

It looks like it's bend a little but I can't really tell. The owner don't know where the frame was by talking over the phone.

I need to determine if it has frame damage before I make the hour long trip to check the car. If it's got frame I might pass up.

The front bumper and core support and other misc stuff are the only issues.

first off what you have listed as number one is not a core support its the bumper and what u have listed as number to is a fram rail and yes it has a slight bend downwards in the pic

I'd be more concerned with the frame rails (they're in the fenders).

Number one appears to be the front bumper reinforcement beam. Number two is the two hook and core support (it's actually the cross member).

thanks guys... y'all think $800 plus $200 towing should be a good deal for it? it's an lx model just for a DD.

rest of the body's pretty clean...hood and fenders are pretty good shape. bumper and support, washer reservoir, corner lights needs to be replaced though.

it's got salvage title btw.

yay or nay?

You'll regret the salvage title down the line.

Salvage title can make it easier to total in the future and more difficult to sell (and it will probably sell for less).

5th gen Civics without damage and with clean titles aren't expensive. Unless you just want a daily beater for cheap I wouldn't concern myself with this car.
