actually no it wont, it will be longer than the ls exhaust becuase the Gsr cats are shorter.

00-01 GSR exhausts fit 94-01 LS' and 97-01 ITR's.
94-99 GSR exhausts only bolt up to 94-99 GSR's.

 

i believe all axle-backs are the same lengths....its the b-pipe thats a different length on the different models.

 

I had a 2000 b Pipe (I had to extend) and My 94 axle back bolted up.

 

yes it should bolt up. both are same exhaust length's.

I have a '94-'99 GSR apexi n1 cat-back on my 2001 GSR. I got a JDM header and carsound cat (54006), so the header/cat combo is the same as '94-'99 gsr. I took my axle back off to see if my 2001 axle-back would bolt up to the b-pipe. Surprising enough, it did.

Now for some facts:
All LS/Type R cat-back lengths = '00-01 GSR
'94-'99 GSR are different from the rest.

So basically i took a 2001 LS axle-back and bolted it up to my '94-'99 GSR b-pipe.

How much did you have to extend the B-pipe? And how did you do it? The reason that I ask is because on Friday I ordered a Type-R B-pipe and muffler and I have '94 GS-R, so the B-pipe is going to needed to be extended.

 

uhhh yes. cat length, as well as resonator length's may be different,

but you just said axle back portion will bolt up.....which was the thread title, so we both basically answerred the same question.

 

Oops...I read it wrong as well.

The AXLEBACK WILL bolt up, as long as its 2dr-2dr or 4dr-4dr.
