the beads on the mounts look so tiny they look robotic, and the welds on the shocks look sick!

along with the setup, looks awesome, cant wait to see it done!

BTW I'm not that familiar with the sr20 swaps into 240's, but with the engine that far back did you have to do anything to the firewall or transmission tunnel? or its kosher as is?

I guess the question I'm curious about most - how did you weld the struts w/o killing someone? Or are those hollowed jobbers with a conventional shock retrofitted in each? Moreover, why did you have to do that??

You ever have people coming in with 280zx projects? A buddy of ZT (ziptied) is completing a 280zx with s14sr and s13 suspension changeover.

You guy have some sweet fabwork going on. Are you using the painless kit on that car??

Checking into the build mor. Why did the owner not want to do the s13 rear subframe changeover? It would make it easier to get r200 diffs for final drive changes.

It is actually an adapter sleeve that slides over the original strut housing tube then welded together.

I believe John (owner) is planning to make his own wiring harness. As for the subframe swap, he wanted to utilize the full arizona z car suspension/brake setup. How much was involved swapping over the suspension and rear subframe on your buddy's 280zx?
