first:
good reliable cheap.
you only get 2.

second, actually before you even get that far (number 1)
do a compression andleak down test and see if it is even worth doing that to that engine.

i am going out on a limb and saying this is your daily?

Your best bet would be to check on a local automotive forum to see if someone will help you out with the compression and leak down test for a 12 pack of beer or something. If not, most shops should have the equipment as well. Both tools are a good thing to own too, especially when messing around with boost on 15+ year old cars.

i think you should use the red search feature....that will help you out a lot.
the tools are= cylinder compression tester, cylinder leak down tester......as described earlier.

boost on a 200k original, non rebuilt engine.....are you serious?
do you know what your getting yourself into?

Compression testers:
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs...ester

Leak down testers:
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs...+down

You should be able to find both of these at a local automotive parts store or Sears.
