No Spark
Im not getting any spark from my 1.6 non-vtec(ZC) engine w/DPFI. I just replaced my control module and still no spark. Im just wanting to get a new distributor for it. So what distributor should i get?one for a 1.6 or one for a 1.5? I have a pm9 ecu. If can please help...
I have checked the coil and it test out(.8 ohms). I have been told to check the ignitor but when i goto the parts store they look at me like im stupid when i ask i need one....and whats the dizzy?
dizzy=distributor
if you're using a zc, i seem to remember that it's really similar to the d16, but (if it's the dohc zc) i'd think the head would be different, so i don't know what to tell you about potential compatibility.

No spark = typically bad coil or ignitor. Coils fail moreso than ignitors on Civics.
I don't know what you mean by "control module." Are you referring to the ECU? Or the ignition control module/ICM (ignitor)?
Check all grounds as well. Are the cap, rotor, and wires in good condition?
PM9 is the STD ECU, so you have a DPFI 1.5L.

I just replaced the ICM, it was $100. And ya the Cap, rotor, wires are in good shape. But when i bought the car someone had already swapped engines( to the SOHC ZC engine) But it still has the DPFI on it that came stock with the car. And it still has the stock PM9 ecu in it. But i tested the coil and it read .8 ohms, and i looked it up and thats where it saposta be.
