Maintenence Required indicator (is RED) what is that from?
Hi guys.
I have that "Maintenence Required" indicator as red. T
here is no light but it's some plastic red paint and it's not really that prominent.
I was wondering what triggers that as opposed to the "Check engine Light?"
Is is something important? Is it resettable?
Any information would be very much appreciated.

Press the little rectangle switch right near it (the one thats level with the plastic)... It would go green. I think thats just for oil. When you get oil they should press that in to turn it green again. Your key should be able to press it in far enough.
Vistage, Thank You very much my Friend!! I was worried for a sec.
I just got the car 2 months ago. The dealership put 4 quarts in it and it smoked. *hates dealers*. Anyways. I love Civics. It's not a VTEC or anything cool but it's fast enough for me. I am modding the looks and stuff. I think the term is "Hard Parker" LOL funny.
Anyways, Thanks again!!

VTEC... boo. I have VTEC. SOHC VTEC. So that's my excuse for not liking it I suppose. Meh, works for gas mileage, which is definitely important, especially now.
There's a sedan squad you should look at too. They post lots of sedan parts, photos, etc.
