I was wondering....On my 2000 civic, the A/C blew cold. The last time i used it was probably 6 months ago. However, yesterday i used the A/C and it wasnt cold....do i need a new compressor or soemthing?

lol, nothing like being point specific...

so does it blow cold, just not as cold as it used to..??? not blow cold at all..?? blows cold but only for a lil bit than goes away..??? blows cold til u sit at an idle and than doesnt blow cold...???

from what u just said, it could just need a lil vacuum job an recharge possibly...

You should run your a/c at least once a week so the o-rings and gaskets don't dry out.

Even if you have it turned to "heat" you can still have the compressor engaged.

You probably lost some freon - good thing it's R134 ...nice and cheap.

Well...if you ever have a leak, something is wrong and needs to be replaced (most of the time o-rings or compressor seals)

But you can probably just do with a freon recharge.

The recharge is cheap from autozone , charge it and see if it leaks and go from there
