Very noob ?
Is it ok to jack up the front of my car by the cross member or will you bend it.
also can you rewire the aux. lights on the the del sol from the main headlights to just the corner lights so the could come on with only the corner lights on and not the head light.
I read the diy pic.s didn't work so it was a little confusing.
Thanks for the help

What do you drive? I'm guessing a del sol? Whats the crossmember to you? I've seen people mistake it for the radiator support, and thats usually not the best of ideas for jacking the car up...
if you want help why dont you try posting a title that will give someone an idea of what you need help with. and why dont you just jack your car up where you're supposed to ? and as far as your wiring is concerned i've never owned a del sol so i cant help there.
Sorry for the title
but i hate having to jack one side up and put jack stands under it then go the the other side and repeat the processe to change the oil and for any other reason i would need to go under my motor
and for what H22civic88 said i probably was mistaking it for the radiator support where would the cross-member be then. and yes i do have a del sol

I always just jack mine up from the jack points on the side right under the front fender you cant miss it, then I'll usually set the jacks on the lower control arm or the frame underneath depending on what I'm working on...

I think he is trying to say that you will have enough clearence to run your car up on ramps by taking off your front bumper. When I first bought my del it was a credit card height off the ground(dumb kid cut the springs) n e ways thats how i would get mine high enough.
Or you can not be lazy and use the jack points
