what size exhaust

i got a 94 sohc vtec 1.6 what size exhaust should i do 3 inch or 2.5?

What, no other mods? Then leave the exhaust stock. A 2.5" or 3" exhaust will help a boosted application. The size then depends on the amount of boost.

both are way too big for your stock, unmodified motor. 2" max.
