Default HELP me find this part PLEASE or WHO can make it for me?

Hi,

I have a Billet Shift **** that is tapped 1/2-20 and it comes with a sleeve / adaptor / reducer (whatever you want to call it) which turns the 1/2-20 to a 3/8-16 BUT my problem is the shifter has a 3/8-24 so the **** will not fit.

I thought about re-tapping the 3/8-16 reducer bushing to a 3/8-24 but I don't think that will be a good idea since its made out of alum. and I don't think there is enough meat for it to be re-tapped again....

Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction to find a 1/2-20 to 3/8-24 reducer bushing?

Or how much will someone charge me to make one for me?

I know I "could" have the **** welded shut and re-drilled / tapped for the 3/8-24 BUT I think welding it shut will ruin the **** since its anodized....

Here is a picture of the current reducer bushing which I have... its a 1/2-20 to 3/8-24

Sorry for the cell phone pic... stupid camera is dead...

Thanks!

Thank you VERY Much!

Looks like we need to re-tap the actual **** to a 9/16-12 so we can fit a insert of 3/8-24 and make things work!

Thanks once again for the quick help!

Look at that....and people say the Canadians don't help us out with anything

Some Canadian guys even let me hang out in their C130 Hercules to get out of the rain last weekend.
