crx,350 hp 255tq stock b16 greddy 18g and i need to know if i should stay with street rims and tires in back (15's) or go with skinnies? my tuner said it will be better with street tires in back for turbo but i want to get some input if i should run a better quartermile time with skinnies or not...thanks for any info

 

skinnies will reduce weight by about 30-50lbs, depending on what wheel youre on now. thats the main advantage. less weight of course anywhere on the car = faster times.

 

never done a comparaison myself but skinnies are alot lighter than my normal rims so i think exospeed is probably right...

 

Is this for a one time drag race or something that your going to race a lot?

If your asking we have to assume your going to be racing a lot.

Is this a bracket car, or a class car?

Some classes won't let you run skinnies.

or if you are budget run VX wheels with smaller tires..

i actually weighed them and they are VERY close to Bogart skinnies weight. within a 1lb or so..

they just don't look as good..
