Is there a chance that maybe he didnt degree them properly?
Or perhaps wherever you had them before, the engine liked it more...
Degreeing the cams basicly times the cams to the crank more accurately than timing marks alone. This is the starting point for camshaft tuning, measuring, etc.
Normally, youd degree the cams, measure clearances, adjust, remeasure, and make final adjustments on the dyno...
In your case, sounds like the cams started in their ideal position and you kinda worked backwards...
Once the cams have been degreed properly, you should be able to tune them to at least where you started193/138, if not more...

yea thats wut i thought too.. i was looking forward to at least picking up 5 hp from doing it.. but was left dissappointed.. so all adjustments r made on the cam gears?
lol, surprised no one has mentioned you don't have NEARLY enough compression to really utilize those cams.
h24x on stock compression
Edit: also RM cams like to be rolled together when degree-ing. IE. advance or retard them together, not separately.

Those numbers are before and after degreeing correct?
Not before and after cam install?
All the marks should still line up the same. You move the cam itself inside the cam gear, the cam gear (the part with the teeth) stays still......so everything should still line up.
When you set your engine at TDC do the cam gears still line up like they should?

Lol.........I'd stop taking your car there if they "degreed" in your cams without even asking for the specs to which they should be degreed. Set em back to 0,0 and if you really want to fool with the cam gear settings well do it on a dyno one degree at a time.
One other thing, I know every dyno is different but damn your tq is low for an h22.

Set them back to zero after taking pictures of the gears as they are now. If they didn't have the specs they didn't degree them. Then file a complaint with the BBB.
just called him .. he said he had to find the degree specs himself... he gave me center line numbers of 103,106.. n when i bout the rocket cams.. i never got a cam card...
answered above.. 103, 106 thanks

I'd guess slightly bent valves.

They recommended it, and left with power loss
