Great upgrade for any DD civic!
RSX full mist windsheild washer nozzles!

BEFORE - Two lame squirt holes from each nozzle(my driver side had one clogged hole anyways haha)

Unhook the washer hose, pup the tabs off the old one and pop in the new nozzle
AFTER - Full mist over the whole windsheild!

Let me tell you, this 10 dollar, 5 minute upgrade is hella nice :-D

Junkyard or Acura.... Secondhand autoparts shops I highly doubt will carry these... But very nice tho, I saw someone who had ones similar to that on his hatch, worked good..

I have ep3 washers on my ej8... I thought theyd be great, because its a fan-type mist spray.
Its really not.
The dc5/ep3 have the washers mounted differently on the hood and the incline of the windshield is different than the eg/ek.
(Perhaps their washer pump is stronger as well)
While the car is sitting still, these washers are fine.
However, once youre driving over 40, theyre shitty. The spray doesnt even reach more than 1/3rd over the windshield. It gets worse on the highway....
In real world situations, the stock single stream washer nozzles are best.
Trust me, Ive had them for years now.
The only reason I havent switched back is because theyre epoxied to my cf hood and are basically there forever.......
I dont know how much testing the OP has actually done, but you can take my word for it...

i will test them on the highway today. if that's the case, then i'll look to upgrade to a new pump. a buddy of mine owned an 03 and an 05 S rsx and never had any issues with the nozzles going on the highway. btw, sitting still they hit the windshield perfectly. see if you can adjust those ep3 ones, these rsx ones hit pretty dead on as you can see

Like I said, Ive owned them for years, so Ive adjusted them every-which-way.
The spray is just too fine, at speeds, and is blown lower than what is useful.
Also, I am not sure that the pumps are any different, its just something I thought of. Theres a good chance its the exact same pump thats in all hondas 88+

Other than the bullshit squirters that come in all EKs can you tell me which squirters other than the EK ones would work? Thanks

tried them out at various speeds and i'm sad to say that over 40mph the weaker civic pump just doesn't spray the jets hard enough to fully cover the windsheild. anything below 40mph was acceptable, but at highway speeds i just wasn't getting decent enough coverage. i'm going to see if i can find out the flow rating of an rsx pump. i might see if i can pick one up from the same guy i bought this from.

edit: if anyone already knows the flow rating or other specs of the rsx pump please share. like i said i'm just doing this to try and improve my daily driver, and was hoping to provide a helpful upgrade to the honda community

You know what may work, is using smaller diameter tubing, at the T juction (on the shock tower)
Smaller tubing will increase the pressure and possibly the velocity.
The next 1/8" down would do it, just warm the tips in hot water beforehand to get it over the nipples

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I was wondering if the problem with the weak stream was ever resolved cause I was gonna pick up some nozzles from an rsx in a couple days.

I've had the 98-2001 accord washer nozzle installed onto my 5th gen civic before. They fan spray also. I had the same outcome when going over speeds of 40mph. I went back to the stock washers.
