I have a 97-01 jdm h22a in a 93 SI. ive been rockin the stock headers/exhaust thatcame with the swap for a lil while now and im lagging some power...thinkit might be clogged up. I want to just get some new headers/exhaust just to the same tip im rockin. nothin too special. I came across those ebay sets 4-2-1. And alot of em are confusing me. they say 97-01 but not jdm then some just say 92-96 h22 vtec.. Could i get away with buying the 92-96 ones. They should work right? As long as its for a h22/vtec head right? thanks alot. im so confused and im not bout to waste my money i just need something now until i go boost. thx

 

From the way you talking, sounds like your just looking for a cheap header to replace your old factory one. If you just want a cheap replacement for a damaged or ugly header, Megan (most common cheap brand on eBay) headers are fine. From a power perspective, you will most likely not gain any power with any cheap header. The 4th and 5th gen H22 manifolds have the same exact exhaust port pattern but the length of the lower half, O2 sensor bung, and support bracket are all differentl. So in short, buy the H22 header designed for your chassis not the engine.
