Default Horn Upgrade

Does anyone know if i can buy a horn from an 08 accord and put it on my 07 4 door si. the horn on this car sounds pathetic, worse than my Em1's horn which was horrible. its so high pitched and girly.

Any automotive horn will work, it's just two wires, ground and power. Tap into the stock wires, cut.... whatevers, basic electrical knowledge. Most difficult part is figuring out a way to mount the new horn.

You can buy a horn from the Fit or the 07 Accord and swap it out for your sotkc horn, they sound deeper and bolt right up.

I would suggest getting Hella's supertone horns from safedrives, they're a sponsor on here and the Hellas are LOUD

yeah...supertones are the best disc type horns you can get....i get my hella stuff from rallylights.com, but wherever you get it, it's good stuff. hella ftw.

however, for those on a budget, you can simply go to advance/autozone/pep and get a replacement disc diaphragm horn for a blazer or similar vehicle. if you add it inline with your current horn, you will have a low AND high tone which will make for a pretty noticeable honk. the hardest part is mounting it, but that is pretty simple.

Did you upgrade your horn? Do you have any pics? I really hate the horn and have always wanted to change it. I saw a youtube where guys put train horns, and cruise ship horns in their trucks. Funny. I just want something more masculine when I get cut off. I would like to see how it is mounted if anyone has done that.

fit horn is perfect, all you have to do is unclip the old horn and clip the new fit horn on. (have to take the bumper off though) go to your dealer and check out the sound of fit horn if you don't know how it sound. horn cost like 25 bucks at the dealer.
