horn 1989 accord not working
My horn quit working. Please don't tell me to go to 3geez, those ****** banned me for making fun of some stupid ricers, and they won't let me come back. ******. Anyway, I need a horn!
Bahahahah! Yeah those 3geez guys are ******!
, especially the mods! (
oh hai!)
Seriously though, if your horn isn't working, make sure the ring on the back of the wheel is making good contact at the column... Otherwise, usually it's just the horns themselves that collect moisture inside and corrode. If your horns aren't riveted together, you can unscrew them and sand down the contacts inside and thats it, otherwise go get a new horn.
How's the Grand Am?

you calling me a ***** 2ndGen? ...wait, guess ur a ***** too. lol. oh, and btw, I'm pretty sure it was a grand prix, not an Am.
Anyway cash, check what 2ndGen said too, but also take a look at the leads to the horn themselves, I don't remember if there are disconnects on them (i think there is), but those could be corroded too. Are you hearing any sound at all? If it's just a very faint buzz, then it's definitely a horn that's gummed up or clogged w/ road junk.
You can pick one up for peanuts at a j/y, or use this as an excuse to get a 12V air horn and swap it out. You'll still pass inspection with that, but will scare the snot out of the guy testing the horn.
....and cash, see what happens when you act nice? ...you get answers, and people willing to offer a helping hand. (respect in = respect out, but crap in = crap out hence action taken)
How's the 3G coming along? Are you warming up to the reliability and comfort of the Honda at least?

take two wires and jump the horn power and ground to the positive and negative on the battery if the horn makes noise something else is wrong if no noise then tear into the horn just dont jump it backward or else you will have a bad horn
