Okay so Ive been at it quiet some time. Ive tried everything I know to get this ball joint to seat. Ive got the passenger side one in fine, and now the driver side will not seat properly.

Ive tried slamming it into place
Hitting a board with a hammer onto the threaded part.
Shaking
cursing
spitting

And none of them have worked.

The DIY lower ball joint replacement in the FAQs is dead

Thanks, I had someone stand on the Rotar while I tightened it down

 

easiest thing in the world is put a jack under the lower control arm and force it up then tighten the nut.
