Hey guys,

I'm gonna be doing 2 things to the car.


1) Installing a short shifter
2) Painting it

For (1), I need 2 how to tutorials

The first one is on how to install the actual B&M (gonna grab the dual bend) shifter.

And I have gathered that it's a good idea to replace the bushings with enegry suspension ones, so I'm gonna pick up those so a guide on how to install these would be great too.

And, about painting it, I'm gonna use the roller method (don't hate, it's a beater and the paint looks horrible so it can't get any worse and this seems the easiest). I don't need a tutorial for that, there are plenty, but it would be useful if there is a tutorial on how to remove parts to prep it, like the side mouldings on the doors and whatnot..

I did search by the way, found a couple guuides that seems VERY amazing but all the pics were missing, so I'm asking for more recent ones here.

By the way, I noticedt hat pretty much that's what always happens when there is a nice guide on a forum, the pics go missing after a while. I was thinking of starting a site just as an archive of these. Just post up people DIYs (with their permission of course) in one place so this stuff doesnt happen. Yay or nay ?
