I was poking around my engine bay today when I found this that made me say "hmmm." I'm pretty sure this is a motor mount and should have two bolts in it but it does not. It appears that I would have to jack the engine up just a bit in order to put bolts in. Can anyone tell me the size and length of the bolts I will need to correct this? Thanks.

 

That is your front torque mount. I ran my car without one for a day while switching mounts out and didnt notice a big difference...not that my car was fast anyways bump for you though

 

drive to a parts store, and ask to try some. i would just remove it completely. but do that.

I think they may be the same size. I'm sorry I can't remember for sure, I just went through changing my motor mounts. I got one at a local junk yard for free.

 

just go to the junk yard pull two tranny bolts from a donor car. these will work fine
