This person lives close to me so I'm thinking about picking it up and either parting it out (anyone see any parts they need?) or building a race car out of it.

So, it says it has a D15B2 and a 5-speed.... DX???? they say the motor runs good, but I find that hard to believe with no distributor, and who knows how long the oil cap has been left off, so the motor's probably shot. the only thing I see that I could use off of it would be the 5 speed tranny, I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle to swap a dx trans for a 4spd.

any opinions?

 

Probably cost you more to get rid of it than to make any money from it...Give it a a rest..."RIP". Only thing worth in the car that I can see are interior pieces. Door panels, glovebox, dash, windshield, glass (door)...and those are the pieces that people take out anyway to lighten the car...and windshield is impossible to resell. They break 99% of the time when removed. Make a list of the parts that you think you can resell and add it up...make your decision from there...thats what I would do.

 

Depends on how badly you're itching for parts out of that car.
Me personally, I wouldn't bother, especially if space is an issue.
