Default A few questions (interior, exterior, performance, etc...)

Hey my names Jon, I own a 1994 Honda Accord LX and I have a few questions about some things for it or actually cars in general...

I want to redo pretty much the whole dash and re-arrange some things. If I were to take it all out and got the buttons and everything seperate from the console could I put it back in any arrangement I want given theres enough wiring and that kinda thing?

I want to take off the exterior trim on the door panels but once I do there will be that big missing spot and indention where it used to be, is that cureable or will I have to fabricate my own panels to go over it?

what is the approximate launch rpm without a LSD tranny so that you dont start spinning out and get a good launch?

Ill probably have a few other questions as I go along and in adavnce thank you for all your help

1) Nothing restricts you from moving stuff save for a mounting place, refer to the Accord FAQ for the H/AC control relocation thread as an example

2) The side trim? there will be holes that have to be filled

3) lol you shouldn't be launching really it'll always do a one legged hop - i am glad you realize it doesn't have lsd though if you do launch it ~3k is what I did for autox but keep in mind it'll still chirp the tires unless you have some with grip (ie not all seasons/generic "summer")

haha sounds about right,
I dunno I just thought itd be alot more complicated haha

well I have more questions haha

Is it possible to have WORKING dual exauhst on my 94 accord lx sedan?

When people are talking about the "bottom end" what all does that consist of?

and lastly; (for now haha)
I saw a guy the other day that was turning in front of me, he had his blinker on and it was flashing alot faster than what Ive known to be the stock speed. How do I get my blinker to speed up?

yea a dual setup will work.. but its extra weight and headache with routing. you won't see any real gains over a single 2-2.5" exhaust with a naturally aspirated motor anyway. most of the turbo guys usually go for around a 3" single from what i've seen

the bottom end is the block, crankshaft, rods, pistons, etc.
the head includes the valves, springs, lifters, retainers, intake and exhaust ports, etc.

the sped up blinker is a result of an unplugged (or maybe burnt out) signal bulb. pointless really and sorta dangerous but if you really want it, take one of your signal bulbs out?

there might be another reason it happens but thats my experience

yeah I think Id sacrifice for the dual exhaust, I just think it makes the car look a ton better!

thanks a ton man!

oh and yeah I talked to a guy at the square tonight (where everyone cruises in my hometown) and he said the same thing but I already have an out bulb cause I found out my brakes wont work when the cars not on my running into my neighbors garage haha. but yeah I talked to another guy and this guy from the way it seems knows a **** load about cars and he said what you have to do is on one of the brake lights cut the ground wire and that will do it!

the only thing with that is, where in the hell is the ground wire?

Fast blinker module from ebay or replace with LED's

Either one of those would work. No real need to remove crap.

lift the panel up, theres clips that hold it in place, make sure to take the little triangle piece that covers the mirror on the interior off.

Is it possible to make custom door panels? (interior)

If so would I have to do it myself or is there a place that will do it for me?

thanks in advance :D

ok questionl ike k20, well lets say pretty much u can put any honda motor in a honda car with some or alot mods depends on wat u put in, k20 in a 94 accord would require some welding for bracket hold the engine mount like u do in civics, but i see some cb 90's accord with them, go the cheaper route since u have a accord, h22 would be the answer, it bolts right in and need less after market parts since u can use most of ur accord engine parts so do research on motor swap, there in faq, i read alot of it and copy and paste in words and save them in file. so for future refrence i can get it from my comp and without getting in internet and dig it out again

K20??? very possible these days.
http://www.HASPORT.com they have released a K series motor mount set up for the 94-97 Accords within like the last year and a half or so. You could prolly do the swap for like anywhere from 4G`s - 8G`s depending on if you do it your self and what you want.
K series CD FTW!
