lookin to get a used r6
Not the best beginner's bike by a long shot...
i'll point out that ergonomics are hell, so you can forget about making u-turns at any speed as a beginner, but there are a million other reasons (which will probably made very clear by the members of this board lol) why you should not start with the R6
In the off chance that you decide to get it though, make damn sure that the transmission functions properly, taking time to make sure that the bike doesn't grind or jump out of gear at hard acceleration. That generation of the R6 has had well documented transmission problems
Also, rectifiers are a big issue with most all bikes made in that time frame--> they are prone to overheating
