Default front strut bar question

I have a 1997 DX hatch and I was looking into strut bars, but im not sure which ones will fit around/over the resonator box properly. If anyone can give me places to find them, brands, or anything else i would need to know thatd be cool

Neuspeed, DC, hell the password 3-point, just buy something ridged. You don't want to buy one with joints or flexibility, that defeats the purpose of the bar. Stat away from bars that look like the megan racing bars for your car.

My is a 97 LX 4d and the intake box is above the engine. I wonder will the password front strut bar will still fit on it.

from the bars ive been looking at, it seems like only the 3-point bars will fit around the resonator box. Anything else will completely interfere with the box and thus wont fit at all i still havent been able to find pictures of someone with a Y7 that has a bar fitted on.

You could buy a Y8 or Z6 intake and go to a side draft throttle body. Ditch the downdraft all together... If you'd like

Which bar did you get? I know password has installation instructions on their website, just find the 3-point bar and it should be on the same page

I have not get any bar yet. I am trying to see which one is better. I like the solid town bar because because I don't have to do any drilling but it is expensive.

agreed. ctr or gsr bar are to of the cleanest routes to go. and if you do decide to use the y8 manifold the most exspensive part should be the new gasket for it. the parts can be found for dirt cheap.
