Default Bent EK side skirt...repairable?

So a few years ago, I got in a stupid accident that ruined my fender and side skirt. I finally got around to picking up a new fender a few weeks ago (I could give a damn about body work ), but I'm wondering if I could just bend my side skirt back into place or not?

It's going to be a pain to buy another pair of side skirts and get them paint-matched, but I just wanted to check with H-T first to see if it's salvageable.

Attn: haters...I could care less about spending $$$ on bodywork and paint, so don't hate please!

Well if you fixed it, you'd have to repaint it anyway, so I just think it'd be much less of a hassle to get a new (used) one and start over. There's a significant body line so if it's a shade off, nobody will notice.

I plan on using touch-up paint for the quarter-sized piece of paint that's missing. I just want it to look half-decent, until I repaint the car in the future.

yeah the heat gun trick works good just wear a pair of welding gloves but if you dont have any welding gloves you can use a cheap set of garding gloves be carefull not to get it too hot just enough to get it plyable

you could have that fender repaired as well take it off and tap it softly with a hammer and you could get lucky and it could come out and if it doesnt you can always just take it to your body shop or what ever and get it done

just helping a buddy out

I would just buy 2 oem black side skirts used and say screw it as far as the paint matched goes. It will look better than trying to fix it and like you said you are going to paint it later on so just get them paint matched again then

Just get one from a salvage/junk yard and call it a day. You will have to paint it to match just as if you would if you fixed your current one.

good luck!

Because I picked up a used Milano Red fender for $10, and it would be an easy fix?

No worries, I bought them 7 years ago. I have JDM EK sidemarkers that have been sitting around waiting to be installed for 3 years.

Maybe this is their year.
