p2t ecu on 99 ex

just wondering if a p2t ecu (si) will work on a stock 99 ex d16y8, and if it will throw cel codes.. i would search but search isn't working. Please help

p2t is dohc ecu...it would prob make ur car run like crap? but i would let some else chime some light on that with experience!BUMP!

yeah.. just wondering bc person trying to sell it to me says it wold work with an ex since it's vtec but anyone will do anything to make a quick buck.. just concerned about cels tho

It will run like crap casue it is a DOHC ecu.I have heard bad things about running them in a SOHC car before.Now if you went with like a chip P28 or Chipped P06 like i have in my SI you just gotta get a base map for your car on it.I would not buy the ECU unless your going to do a swap and it is an OBD2 ECU.
