Default how can i remove my dash

how can i remove my dash? im considering repainting them to black cause i dont realy like the greyish look in my 96. can somone show me a DIY?

remove the 5-6 bolts. 2 on the outside of the dash that sit flush with the door panel. then there is a 10mm on the driver side corner bottom of the dash. and one on the passanger side of the dash in the right hand corner. one in the center of the dash by the defrost vent.

if you have a pass side airbag. take down the glovebox and remove the 10mm holding that in.

i remove the 4 12mm bolts holding the steering column up lower it down to the driver seat.

remove the 2 connectors that the dash is wired to in the under dash fuse box. and walla should pop right out.

i can remove a dash in 10 mins in the junkyard gotten pretty good at it..lol

ive wanted to do the same **** to mine, so i could put the darker grey dash on mine, i went to the junkyard to take one off, and it was a bitch, i gave up on it
