H22a redlining a 6500!?!?

Default H22a redlining a 6500!?!?

Can somebody please tell me why is my engine redlining at 6500 when it's suppsoed to redline at 7400

How do you mean redlining? If it's not hitting the red line on your tach then your not redlining.

If you are referring to prematurely hitting a rev limiter, ie you can't rev any higher than 6500. Than that could be related to a PGMFI problem (Any CEL codes) or really anything on your engine. If you post up a bit more info about your car, setup and what you have recently done to your car. Someone may be able to help you out.

Usually a question with No info = not much help given

Make/Model/Year & setup of car + swaps + EMS = better possibility of getting a good answer vs a guess!

this is probably a different situation ... but is it auto? ... if it is and your reving it in park it wont rev to its highest rev point ... thats what my previous auto accord would do ... it had a lower rev limit in park ... which im guessing its purpose is to prevent damage to the valves ... i think?

more info, which ecu, what chassis, auto or manual, nobody can even begin to diagnose with no idea what it is

well to start my car is a 92 honda accord ex and i just trasplanted a 94 jdm h22a in it. it is auto but shouldn't it still have a redline of 7400? i know for a fact that everything is hooked up right because i wired in me a vtec light and its coming on as it should right at 5000 but its still redlining at 6500 do you need more info . . . oh yeah im using i P13

If it's auto, you need to get the jdm p19 TCU.
