What should I do? *pictures*
After going crazy i just spotted what was making the knocking noise from my motor. Now is this going to be a major problem or can i just let it go and move on? I do plan on boosting it so i want to make sure its going to be ok and still strong. But what would cause this, wrong size rods? Pistons not giving enough clearance? Or is my crank too big? Everything i bought was suppose to be standard size
heres the pictures off my myspace.....

no my crank is hitting my pistons took me forever to finally figure it out i still have no clue why b/c i spun it by hand and it was smooth and didnt hit at all but after it was making a knocking noise pretty badly and i took it apart and found peices of metal i was really worried and looked everywhere and then right b4 i was about to check the clearance for oil gap on the rods i noticed inside the piston there was a pretty wear into it but its not like the piston is totally damaged but i just want to know if its still save to run the car like that and then boost it later on
what do you mean by:

did you spin a rod bearing or something? and no to your second question, if it were me i would do a complete bottom end rebuild, just to be safe

well that what sucks tho this is my rebuild i have forged pistons 8:5:1 H-beam rods all new bearings even a new crankshaft b/c my old one was no good and it was all balanced and no i pin a bearing but however my pressure plate bolts started to come back out i didnt have it torqued down good enough or something and i thought that fixed my problem, which it was a hell of alot better than it was but something still didnt seem right so completely took it apart which im pretty sure alot of why it still seemed not right was b/c i torqued my rods down more than i should b/c someone told me to and like an idot i listed all the info this guy gave me has been wrong cant wait till he finishes his lsvtec compression of ratio of 14 *so he says* hes doing and watch that thing blow....
make sure if you can see the pictures please b/c to me its doesnt seem that bad

So Your telling me that the counter weights on the crank shaft are hitting inside the piston. But only on that one. I would check rod length on all them. thats crazy i have never seen anything like that.
thats exactly what its doing but its not just the one its the outsides 1 and 4 that are like that and the rods are all the same size 2 and 3 look fine thats what the first picture shows now you can see why this has been bugging me wtf is going on with my motor and every mechanic ive talked to from the begining was lost too i thought maybe someone on here would have seen that or give me an idea and let me know if im ok and just to let it be but i dont want to blow my engine either
Well while it is not ok, the only fix is probally a little bit longer rods or shave the crank weights and get it rebalanced. all your going to do is crack a piston and lose compression or shave so much metal off that it wont be balanced and will have a nasty vibration that gets worst with rpms, and then might even crack a clyinder wall. I think if you address this now you wont have any problems but long term usage will take its toll.
yea thats the smart thing to do it just suck cause i extremely low on money and i need this car running asap and its just one headache after another.....thanks for all the help and getting back to me i appreciate it
Yea as i was finishing my turbo project **** just seemed to keep coming up and I was pissed and my boss the old hot rod guy he is say welcome to the hot rod world. No matter what when you are building something you are bound to run into some kinda problem small or big. it would be sweet to complete something with no problems and in the original anticipated time. but good luck and keep us posted on your progress
