CAI which one is the best???
The reason why this post has so many views but no replys is because there are so many threads on hondatech that discuss this inside and out. Just look around, use the search feature and just do some research and you can find what your looking for.

alright so i was reading up on the ijen cai the one with the mr technology you know how it goes behind the bumper kinda of close to the ground well what about when it rains ?? will water get in it or can you put a bypass filter on it??
all cold air intakes sit there on our cars. and it isnt exposed. it sits inside the bumper, so i wouldnt worry about it unless it rains alot (like everyday) where you live. and you drive through puddles where you would submerge your front end in water. if you want to do a bypass valve you have to cut the intake to make room for it. as it is one solid piece.

My injen CAI installalation went pretty smooth. All i would recomend doing is when your taking off the stock hoses (there are 3), cut them, dont pull... i broke a breather valve pulling on one of them
just cut them off beacuase u really wont need them unless u decide to put the stock **** back in, then u can just buy new hoses.

no, do not cut them. you pull them correctly and youll be fine. you broke a breather valve?? what are you talking about? keep your install tips to yourself unless they can actually HELP someone out

Well I got some other feedback AFTER i installed the intake saying I should have cut the hoses off.. lol.. that doesnt help much for me though
but i posted some pics of the breather valve i broke before i got it fixed. heres the thread.

the replacement peice was about 50-60 bucks from a random honda parts store (i had to go into honda to get the part number)
dont make my mistake and break this plastic POS off!!!
