SRP/JE D16Z6 75mm stock bore, 9.0:1 forged pistons and rings

These are a great choice for a stock bore D series engine. the Piston to wall clearnace required for boost will give you enough room to hone your block if you want.
if you get vitaras, they require a much lower piston to wall clearance since they are a cast piston. your piston to wall clearance will most likely be too high with a Vitara in a stock 75mm bore. your engine is going to sound like a diesel truck there will be so much piston noise.
You really have to go to a 75.5mm vitara and then have your block bored & honed for correct Piston to wall clearance. which adds another $200+ to your costs.
