tranny question

Default tranny question

what is the best way to tell what tranny is what....for example dx cx si or 4 speed....since i had a tranny given to me but the guy dont know anything bout civics so he dunno what model the car was he took it out of any help is kool guys!

That info is correct, but it still won't tell you what transmission you have.

You have to put the transmission in gear and turn the mainshaft and mark where the diff is after a few rotations.
