not sure about it being bigger piping but the EX (F22B1) manifold and downpipe will fit the F22B2 head. Make sure you get the small section from the EX that has the O2 sensor, you'll need to relocate/extend your wiring to reach that new location. The F22B2 has the O2 sensor in the primaries whereas the F22B1 has it after the downpipe section.

Doesn't the vtec head have a different manifold pattern from the B2?

No. Both the SOHC B's have the same port configuration & bolt pattern for the intake and exhaust manifolds.

If you are referring to the 4-2-1 VTEC B1 vs the 4-1 Non VTEC B2 Manifold and down pipe patterns. Then yes, there is a different pattern in that respect. but it will still bolt up no problem other than the O2 stuff.

hmm

thanks for all the inputs guys

i searched for exhaust parts on Majestic Honda and it seems like F22B2 comes with 4-1 mani, and F22B1 comes with either 4-2 or 4-1 but they only show 2-1 down pipe.

and then i was thinking maybe i could put an EBAY header with the rest of the EX exhaust.

im sure someone would ask me y i wouln't get ebay cat back as well. but IMO, i don't want a car with A/T to be too loud unless its a nice truck or else [no offense to those who have nice exhaust with A/T.]

LMK what u guys think about that
