well i was bz playin my gta iv in my room, then my nephew came in and said that some caucasian dude drove by twice and stopped in front of the driveway where i parked my car with his hands out the window with a camera. should i be paranoid about this? the stupid thing is where i usually park my car is next to my room window so i can hear my sensor loud and clear when someone is near it but now my bro-in-law just towed his totaled car and rested where i usually park. now my front end always sticks out the side of the driveway when i park my car and people can just drive by or just being down the street can easily spot that yellow R. i think i need to invest in a night cam. shiz sux now that i don't think i can sleep easy tonight.

Find a better place to park it or make your bro in law move his car. I've heard of people getting their cars stolen right outside their backyard window next to their rooms. A night cam won't have enough resolution to do anything. You'll just see them steal it and won't be able to make out crap from the video. I would invest in a Glock or a mean dog first.

 

i live in boston too... but no one has ever snapped piks of it at my house... id be worried. i have seen people take piks of it while im in a restauraunt or in a store for a few seconds tho

 

yea i would move the car further in the driveway but the totaled car can't even be driven or move, needs a tow truck to move it. anyways i just talked to my nephew and he's gonna block the driveway with his fj cruiser tonight. well here's how i'm parkin the car rite now...stick out like a sore thumb if you ask me...

try a caR cover and then a really mean dog i would be more alter just in case anything happens

 

your were playing grand theft auto and someone was doing the same on you jk man.... that is messed up what happened and i would be very paranoid myself, but i always take pics of cools cars i see and i hope thats maybe what they were doing with your car. Idk why else they would take a pic if they know where it is all the time. See if you can switch the cars in the driveway to be on the safe side.

Dunno about paranoid, but you should be concerned enough to re-evaluate your security on the caR. Even if he has no intentions of jacking heR, he may blabber about it to someone who may give it a shot.
Things to check out...are any alarm/siren wires exposed under the hood or under the dash? Alarm brains installed in a tough to get to place? Have a battery backup for the system? etc

GL with everything....and get that totaled POS outta there

 

man i do hope he's just checkin out the ride...i have so many random people asked to take pics of my car when i'm out and about but not at home you know!? and i do wish i can move that totaled car out of the lot but my bro-in-law have to wait for the insurance to settle the case and all 1st.

wow, i thought this thread would be dead by the night i started it...but thanks for everyone's concerns and my baby is still safe...i finally talked my bro-in-law in lettin me park further in the drive with about 2 cars in front of mines...i took "omiehomie" advice on gettin a car cover that night which i did went str8 to autozone afterwards and grabbed one for the couple nights before...

 

keep is safe man, i dont wanna hear about an R going missing in my state
