How much chearper is it then OEM? That plus 20% is how much quicker it will fail before the correct one. Just rule of thumb.

Generally from Topline or Bernie's parts, YES. From ACL, Clevite, NPR, Wiseco, Speed-Pro, Hastings, Gates, Goodyear, NO.

Yeah, the local machine shop stocks mahle and clevite, he also recommended total seal rings for my build, what do you think about those rings?

This ones cheaper after shipping and handling charges

To the OP, don't fall for the Type R hype, its only a GSR oil pump look at the part number.

Mahle has traditionally been the choice of various car makers for their higher end models such as GM using Mahle for Corvettes and Chrysler using Mahle pistons for the Shelby turbo charged models.

Maybe someone can step up and get pistons from Mahle for honda and then sling on ebay for $5 gross profit and provide dyno-advertising sheets showing 30-40whp gains from just piston swap . That would da bomb, off da hizzay, fo shizzay, popo-zao :kfed shot-caller, big-baller looking character wear XXXL "shorts" and a Mack Truck cap:
