Default '96 EK SLAMMED WITH H22A4

is it true that you cant slam an ek (ej6) with an h22 cuz of the oil pan? or it wont fit under the hood that low?? is it both, or can you prop the hood and slam it?

from what ive heard, the ek with h22 will scrape cause of the oil pan. I cant confirm that but fom what ive researched thats the problem about slamming it. As for the hood. i dont think you need to prop it.

slamming is retarded, unless you like riding bumpstops, having a crappy ride, and no suspension travel (more bumpstop riding and bouncing in turns).

Slammage won't give you a comfortable ride IMO.
Give it a mild drop and you're set.

Depends on the drop

No prop needed<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by gibsanez &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">QSD's H2B kit </TD></TR></TABLE>

THAT on the other hand, requires a prop

whats the point in slamming, shitty ride, looks stupid, isnt good for the car and you have problems driving everywhere. like everyone else has said, just springs. but id look for some H Swap specific springs to get the best handling you can with the added nose weight of the car

from experience... my friend is sporting a k-swap in his EK hatch on stock suspension and the pan is wicked low to the ground (within 2-4 inches)

when he pulled up in it i thought he was already lowered lol
