So I had a CEL, got it checked: every cylinder misfiring (10 codes)
Last weekend I swapped an a2 into my EP. The only problem I had was an IACV CEL. About 3 days after the swap was complete the idle "cured" itself. The CEL remained on so I reset the ECU. The idle was good, no CELs so I drove it to work (friday).
Immediately after starting the car to drive home I get another CEL. I get off work at 12:30am so I couldn't do anything about it. I filled my tank at Shell and went home. Sunday I went to Autozone to get "the" CEL checked and it's throwing 10 codes: 2 for each cylinder misfiring and 2 "random cylinder misfires." The autozone guy said the usual: "when did you replace the plugs last?" But I know it's something more large scale than that.
The car has a major loss of power (feels like the k20a3) but idles good and the "misfires" aren't audible.
Any ideas guys?

Yep, I have been using V-Power 2 tanks before the swap. That's what I thought it would be but shouldn't be. I also got a different muffler welded on but it's a wide open series magnaflow so I doubt it's causing the problem.
Yeah I checked the plugs and 1 was bad. I replaced it with the best one from my a3. I'll be getting 4 new plugs soon. The coil packs weren't melted or anything. How do I know they are good?
I'm not sure how you check the coil packs. I have the service manual and it was less than helpful. I would like to know as well. You can always ground the plug out of the head and visually check for spark to see if you have discrepancies between plugs/coil packs.

Do you have kpro? Also get new plugs NGK heat range 7 asap. The plugs that were in your a3 are range 6 and will heat up causing misfiring or detonation.
