***** This is the story of my EP3 hatch..... enjoy *****
So three and a half years ago I sold my CRX and bought myself a brand new off the lot EP3 civic hatch, as seen here:
Then at some point a year or so ago it looked like this:
and another:
and the shitstream beater wheels, c/f lip got smashed so I had it painted matched.... liked the clean look but the usdm front end just wasn't doing it for me. Way too pointy, and the chrome headlights were meh.
And now, as of today here is how it sits.... I'm nearly 100% happy with the final outcome, would like to maybe have a few more ponies under the hood but it does the job for the time being. The car is daily driven and winter driven, no show queen here.
EP3 CTR Recaros.... Takatas still need to be put in.
Engine bay shot... HKS intake, DC race header & O2 sim, custom bent 2.5" midpipe to Spoon N1 exhaust. Spoon ETD, Spoon plug cover & caps, J's strut bar & all the other minor ****.

looks really good.. its crazy how the replica ctr kit is world of a difference for the real ctr lip.. the only thing i would say it change the tail lights.. otherwise its DOPE looking

loving the car and the wheels. I would ditch that little tow hook though it looks undersized and out of place. Maybe a red Benen or none at all.

Yeah, personally I just don't like them. My comment isn't intended as a personal insult towards you or anything childish like that. I know they are Honda OEM tail lights, but I still don't like them. If I had an EP3, I'd get the older ones that are red.
Either way though man, the rest of the car is nice and I wouldn't ever knock you for oem tails.

Looks good man. I've always liked the exterior of EP3's, especially with either lower-profile'd tires or 17" wheels IMO. The only thing that I can't grasp is that damn shifter position.. I dunno, maybe it's something you have to try in real life to life.

Thanks. I dunno whats next... upgrade as stuff breaks or needs significant work. I'd really like to supercharge but I dunno.

Thanks.... they are 17x7.5" on a 215/45/17 tire.

Thanks... if you ever get the chance drive one.... you'll love it. So close to the steering wheel. I honestly have trouble driving other cars with the shifter on the floor now haha.
