i bought my 97 civic hatch with power steering and ac dropped i was going to put a swap in it but that wont happen till after summer so ac is the way to go right now
i was just trying to get a price amount how much the compressor would be and what all id be dealing with AND everyone asks if it has motors for it and it blows just not cold
any help would be appreciated

I'm a little confused by your statement that the A/C dropped, was the compressor never there when you bought the car or are you assuming the compressor is failing? Most of the time the A/C has a leak in it. Most of the time that leak is at the fill valves for the A/C. Filling the A/C and checking for leaks would be the first way to go. You'll have to have a shop check for the leaks, but you can buy R134 over the counter with a fill tube. If the compressor is bad money will go fast as a rebuilt compressor will be about $250 and up before you put freon in it. Good luck.
