Default Del sol/civic compatability

Is the del sol compatable with civic parts of the same year? I'm talking about suspension, brakes, engine, transmission, etc.

What about the body parts, will they (doors, bumpers, lights) interchange? What other cars are the seats compatable with?

I just bought a 94 Del Sol, and I'm picking it up tomorrow. It needs a headlight and turn signal and drivers seat. I wouldn't ask this "newbish" of a question if I had found the answer during my search I did earlier.

ALL del sols share suspension/brakes/etc. with ALL EG(92-95) civics only and 94-01 tegs(exluding the type R)

Body parts are sol specific though that should not even need to be a question IMO....none of the body lines are the same, the headlights are much different and the door designs are different.

as far as seats, any EG, EK or DC seats can fit in a sol, just swap the rails out.

other nicer OEM seats such as s2k and RSX seats have been put in sols(and several other cars) but they require a MUCH MORE DIFFICULT and TIME CONSUMING seat pan swap.....if you couldn't have guessed that the body parts aren't interchangeable I would stay far away from trying to get either of these seats to fit in your car.

IMO though when it comes to seating, a good racing seat(sparco, momo, corbeau) beats the **** out of any OEM seat and some of them are fairly comfortable.... I've actually fallen asleep in my boss's old sparco pro2000 he has just sitting in a corner @ the shop several times lol

You don't need to use that tone with me. I've been welding, machining, and fabricating parts for 5 years now. When you make your own 4-link for a truck and beat the **** out of it without breakage then you can talk down to me. I've been rebuilding engines since before I could drive.

I suspected the body parts wouldnt interchange, but all hondas look similar and I haven't been much other than a honda hater until recently with the gas prices popping over $4 a gallon.

Other than that, thanks for the useful info.
