what is the limit for EK hatches offset?

i have heard you cant go under 25 or else it will rub against your inner chassis in the front and will touch your rear trailing arms for the back. anyone with any clue?
Not true.
the lower the # the more the wheels stick out generally, the higher the # the more "sank in" they appear. However one very important thing to note is knowing the offset is pretty much USELESS if you don't know the rim width.
For example a 8" wide rim with a 0 offset will have 4" on each side of where the wheel mounts to the hub while a 5" only have 2.5" on each side of the hub.
This is because the offset is a measurement from the center of the wheel width.

FYI probably the most common size for eg-eks is a 15x6.5 or 7 with a 35-45 offset
