Default ctr cams, 10.5cr pistons, 84mm LS block-----safe rpm?

Hello,

Forced induction is in the future for this setup:

ctr cams with a street Port and Polish and aftermarket valvetrain, 10.5cr pistons, 84mm LS block (sleeved).

the forced induction part is still 2 years away.

QUESTION: will this setup make power until 9000rpm even with a 10.5cr? If so, what kind of power can I expect?

Should I go with skunk2 pro1 camshafts??

any input is appreciated
thx
brian

What is your bottom end looking like? ARP rod/main bolts? Shot-peened rods? A few more details about your setup would help.. But Im not totally sure about it revving to 9k. Though im sure a few more 'seasoned' vets might say differently.

Answer: It will make power til whatever rpm it chooses and the only way you'll know what that is or what to expect, is to take it to a dyno and have it tuned and then you'll know.

You could go with Skunk 2 pro 1 cams, but I hardly see the point. Stick with something like Skunk 2 stage 1 cams, Blox A cams, or even ITR/CTR cams which will all work well and still work well once you go boost.
