I was driving back last night in my TL from work and out of no where, a familiar sight of an Integra's headlight approached quickly on my rear view mirror. So I slow down and let it roar by as I surprisingly discovered that it's a PY and has a Carbon Fiber hood. I thought to myself : "Wow, another R in my neightborhood" and I wanted to approach up and see who the driver is.

Then, my friend in my car pointed at the the car ahead and ask "How come that Type-R has a sunroof?" It was dark and I couldn't tell till she pointed that out. And I start to feel funny about its rear end...you guessed it! A Integra Sedan with PY paint, OEM body kits, OEM 5 lugs with spoilers and the right stickers.

I can't see the driver too good cause he's leaning down gangsta style and revving and tailgating. I am pretty pissed and all those stolen ITRs in NY start to get into my mind...I started to think that this car is probably a byproduct of some stolen Rs. So I kept close behind him and instigate him a bit at a time.

Finally, traffic clears up and the boulevard up ahead is empty with lots of room. And out of no where, the backup lamp on his taillight start to flash in blue ala ricer style...I guess this is the way he's trying to say "It's on, Yo!". I kept my car in 2nd gear through tiptronic at 4k-ish, so the moment he accelerates, I slammed my gas pedal to the ground. Changed a lane and quickly put a 2-3 car distance on him easily. I pretty much want to test if he's got an engine swap as well. After I passed, I rolled down my window and wait for him to catch up and prepare to yell at him: "Take that fake **** off the road". But that sucker just took an exit and made a turn and left.

What a shame!

People that assume that any car with something from an ITR is stolen...
People that get all pissy because someone has an "R" sticker on his car...
People who make fun of a stunna because he's tailgaiting, then proceed to race him on the street..
People who are so mad at the world that they can't let another person enjoy their car...
People who think the ITR is the best car in the world...

Those are the people who give you guys bad reps.

So you are saying that rice boys and posers should get respects for enjoying their cars? Then I guess you should move to ClubSi? I "raced" just to see if he also got any engine swapped, and under safe environments as well. If you got your car stolen and parts swapped. You will think the same way we do. This is about stealing someone else's identity, if a BMW 325 owner converted his entire car to immitate a M3, I don't think real M3 owners will be much happier than we are.

I know you Kill Forum people like to bash on ITR owners. But I thought you people also disliked rice boys, but I guess for being an ITR owner, I have no authorities to dislike other cars. Hail to the hybriders!

If it doesn't fit within your small minded view, it's either considered "poser or rice". Yeah, that's a great way to look at things.

You know, if the ITR forum was filled with people like, ClubSi would sound like a pretty decent place, but alas, most people here are humble (read: most).

Most people here aren't mad at everyone for their car being stolen.

I dont have R stickers anywhere on mine but damn you assume too much. Just cause he had a 5 lug visually dont mean someone stole it dude. Chill the fawk out. Not that 5 lugs from the coupe will fit the sedan anyways. If you knew lots about type R's you would know the conversion would NOT work on a sedan.

My previous GSR been stolen but you dont see me saying oohh its a fake integra on a wannabehatch or whatever and race to prove if it has a GSR swap or not. And **** if you look in EBAY there are "type R's" wannabes left and right. I personally never bashed on ITR peeps; but you made an *** of yourself.

as long as you don't put type-R stickers on it

 

1)no itr owner thinks their car is the best in the world

2)itr owners get pissy at a ricer with an R sticker because they give us a bad name when they race other cars (ie domestics) and lose

3)YO! are gay for responding to this post when you dont understand how it feels to be a type R driver and seeing a fake type R

I don't get pissed when I see like a second gen Teg with ITR stickers because I take it as a compliment. It just means that they admire your car, and if someone admires your car, it's a compliment.

i undrestand where the accusation of thieves comes from the ITR owners... i mean if your cars are being plucked out of the street each day i OWULD be paranoid.

putting a type R sticker on a car that is not so is RICE. in ANYONE's definition. it's almost universal. it's the SYMBOL of rice. think about it.

the only ITR owners that think their cars are the best in the world are the ones whos parents bought them for them and they have no knowledge of their platform whatsoever and just go aroung going VROOM VROOM.

 

It would just be a yellow teg with an oem kit. Just because he paints it yellow doesn't make it a fake R.

Only if it has fake badges/stickers on it does it make it a fake ITR.

I am not mad at "everyone" for stealing cars. Just that this particular case, it looks highly suspecious...and this guy also lives in my neighborhood, that's what counts the most!
