00-01 Spec R head code
Do someone know if the code should be PR3-4 on the head???
No way to find the answer just by looking at the head...its a ported head with some aftermarket cams

There is no way to tell from the stamp. the best you can do is verify the year of the casting but all of the ITR/CTR/B16A heads had the same casting stamps.
Don't believe anyone that tries to say that all PR3-4 or PR3-2 heads are ITR. I have seen a few PR3-3 and my old CTR head was a PR3-1....
As far as the green paint behind the distributor, some of the B16A's if not all of them came with that at one time...plus the paint washes off easily.
If the head was stock (which it's not) the only way to tell would be to look at the porting on both intake and exhaust ports along with the tapered valves and valvesprings.

It might even be better then stock ITR/CTR port.

hahaha for sure...i have a stage 3 porting
My question was to know if the same porting would produce the same flow on an ITR and SIR head???
