EXPO8 Maintenance Done! - Well Almost
Well I've had the parts quite a while and finally got it done this weekend with the help of my son Ryan (home from VT for the summer). New timing belt, tensioner, water pump, OEM clutch, pressure plate , and throw out bearing, pilot bearing, Fidenza light weight flywheel, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, all new AC,PS,Alt belts. Took us about 8/9 hours over Saturday and Sunday. Every thing went well except had a weird problem with the fuel filter. My car has a small 10M bolt with 2 washers going through the banjo bolt on the top of the filter and it leaked gas, finally put in a different bolt with just one washer and it sealed fine. Never had that happen before. Still have to install SS brake lines, Cobalt GTS pads, new front rotors, super blue fluid, new Koni Yellows and GC springs. Also need to scuff my new Azenis on my stock 15" rims, and change the oil just before we go.
Oh CRAP, I just realized I was logged in as my son Ryan! This post is really from his Dad, richardb53!

id suggest a radiator flush also with new coolant, as you may find it could block after abuse and water flow will be restricted causing over heating
